See below a couple mocks-ups I very quickly threw together with an AI tool to help envisage what improvements might look like when discussing the place with a landlord. (I am not an AI enjoyer, but there is a time and a place).

Here pictured is what the place currently looks like over the Easter weekend 2026. Just out of frame to the right is the worst of a rat-infested pile of waste next to a tipped sofa. In the background to the left there is discarded mattresses, in the middle you will see the unusable brick bin storage area, and next to that some large bags from the beginnings of clearance work from a cleanup crew (taking easter off, I assume).

Below are two imaginations of what the near-side would look like with a bit of TLC and a new structure built. I propose matching structures near the entrance of both closes (the far side is untouched in these mockups).
